The SLIIT Castlefest Chess Selections 2025 will be held on October 9th (Thursday) from 8.00 AM – 3.00 PM.

✅ The top 8 players (Men’s & Women’s) from this selection will compete against the current top 8 players (from January Selections and Finals).

✅ The Finals will take place on October 12th (Sunday) from 8.00 AM – 3.00 PM.

✅ Venue (both days): SLIIT Main Building, 2nd Floor, Study Area.

✅ Registration Fee: Rs. 500/- (to be collected from all selection participants).

Chehan Weeransinghe, a talented SLIIT student, had the honor of representing Sri Lanka at the Commonwealth Blitz Chess Championship 2024 held in Waskaduwa!
Over nine intense rounds, Chehan displayed outstanding skills and determination against top global competitors!
