The wait is over, and the trophy stays home! After an intense final, SLIIT has officially been crowned the Champions of the T20 Showdown.

From the first ball of the tournament to the final wicket, this team has shown incredible grit, teamwork, and passion. A huge congratulations to the players for their outstanding performance and for bringing the title to SLIIT!

The Grand Finale: SLIIT Crowned Champions! 🏆🏏

What a way to end the tournament! In a high-stakes final at the SLIIT grounds, our team showed incredible composure to defend their total and claim the T20 Showdown title.

The Performance:

Setting the Target: SLIIT posted a competitive 142/3 in their 20 overs, anchored by a brilliant 47 runs from Mihiranga Fernando.

The Chase:

Edith Cowan University (ECU) fought hard but were restricted to 134/9, falling just short in a nail-biting finish.

The Clincher:

Disciplined bowling and sharp fielding saw SLIIT secure the win by 8 runs to lift the trophy.
