Highlights from last Tuesday’s session on 3rd February at the Royal Indoor Sports Complex showcase an intense, high-level basketball experience. Our U15 and U17 players took part in an elite coaching camp filled with energy, smart basketball, and high-level drills.

Huge thanks to Serbian Coach Nikola for sharing his international experience and inspiring our young athletes with a strong focus on discipline, mindset, and the right approach to the game.

The Legend Returns to the Court!

We are thrilled to announce the return of Mr. Chaminda Sembakuttiarachchi as Head Coach of St. Peter’s College Basketball!

A Peterite through and through, Coach Chaminda is the force behind our most iconic wins, including the legendary U-19 All Island Inter-Schools Championship in 2008 (After two decades).

Not to forget his achievements beyond the walls - the historic 2023 undefeated title with DS Senanayake College.
He’s back where it all began—ready to lead the next generation with the same passion, discipline, and championship spirit that made him a legend.

Despite the tremendous efforts of our Peterite Ballers, the Finals of the U-20 Schools Basketball Tournament went in favour of the Josephians who managed to win by just 3 points.

We would like to congratulate our very own Peterites for emerging as the Runners-up and the Josephians for emerging as the Champions of the U-20 Schools Basketball Tournament!

What a game, through to the finals, after thrilling dribbles and passes back and forth our Peterite Ballers managed to hold their nerve and secured a thrilling victory over the Thomians!

Our boys will now take on St. Joseph's College in the all-important Finals!

They crushed St. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia with a resounding score of 53 to 44, clinching the championship title in style!
