Kalutara Youth Football Team’s journey in the Kalutara League Football Tournament 2024–25 was a challenging yet meaningful experience.

We recorded a memorable victory against former Dialog Champions League team Kalutara Park SC. However, we faced defeats against the current Super League champions Blue Stars SC, the promising Crusaders SC, and Sun Rise SC.

This tournament tested us in many ways. Several key players left the team during the competition and even the country to pursue personal development, which required us to rebuild, introduce new players, and adapt to different match situations. Despite these challenges, we finished 4th in our group out of 7 teams.

We take pride in the effort, commitment, and resilience shown by everyone involved. We believe this experience will make us stronger, and we will bounce back stronger.

A heartfelt thank you to all our players, management, support staff, and the Kalutara League organizing committee. We wish all the teams still competing in the tournament the very best.

Kalutara Youth Beach Football team participated to Dilscoop beach football tournament on 10/11/2024 at Kalutara town beach.Our guys secured a 2-1 victory against Real Blue in preliminary round.However,We lost against Cruseiders FC at quarter final stage as 2-1.This new look Youth's beach soccer team played exceptionally well throughout the tournament.Hard luck guys...Cheers 🩵🩵🩵

Kalutara Youth 2 - Kalutara Park 1
Kalutara Youth FC won the first match of the Kalutara league tournament 2024 against Kalutara Park SC today.
Kalutara Youth side played their first match of the season without their prime players like Nirosh,Udara,Aashique,Lakshana,Ashan,Prince due to various reasons.However they were able to win the match by 2-1 against much experienced side Kalutara Park.
Former Kalutara Youth player present Park player Sandaruwan scored the first goal by a free kick by an error of judgment of goal keeper.Then equaliser goal came from our No.10 Chalana.It was an outstanding long range goal.Half time Youth 1-Park 1.
In second half ,Both teams played very aggressive football.Then match turning substitution came from Youth coach our master mind Sachitha.Brayan out and Sadew In.Youngest player of the Youth team, Sadew scored the most important winning goal in the second half and won the first match for his team.Skipper Kalana,our new players Dilaksha,Nuwan,Kamindu played superbly.Debutants Hansaka and Sadew played extremely well.Our New signing Former Green Field Veteran Thaslim was unbelievable today.Let's do better things and day by day let it shine 🌟
