DE SILVA provides the largest Kitesurfing and Windsurfing school in Sri Lanka and ist located directly at the Kalpitiya lagoon, the hotspot of Kalpitiya! The school itself is VDWS certified and has its own instruction zone at the kite beach including beach hut. We offer daily kite courses for beginners, advanced, have North Kiteboarding equipment for rental and sails from Gaastra, Boards from Tabo

u and Fanatic for Windsurfing or Stand Up Paddling! Also DE SILVA has a surfshop where you can find the lastest North Kitesurfing equipment for sale as well as ION products. In case you also want to stay at one of our hotels we offer a surfer-style accommodation directly at the surf station DE SILVA Windresort with nice SurfCabanas, Standard Rooms and a Guesthouse. There you also find DE SILVA restaurant and a Surfbar. Nearby, just 3 minutes walk away from the surf station we offer our new and more convenient hotel DE SILVA Palmresort with a nice swimming pool and more convenient rooms. The DE SILVA Palmresort can be either booked with bed & breakfast or upgraded with full board at our restaurant. The new Palmresort is the more comfortable hotel for couples and families who like both watersports and relaxing. In case you do not want to kite surf at the Kalpitiya lagoon or want to practice windsurf we offer free activities in both resorts like Yoga lessons, Beach Volleyball, table tennis, trampoline, several games and books at our upper deck chillout terrace with lagoon and sea view. Also you may book a tour through to the largest Nationalpark, which is nearby, where you will se wild elefants, leopards, crocodiles and a lot more. In the winterseason dolphines and whales cross the sea near Kalpitiya, which you can see by a dolphine watch tour. Sri Lanka has a lot of sights to uncover.
