Fellow Anandians, the Principal of Ananda College, Mr.Kithsiri Liyanagamage has been subject to hate speech on this pathetic gossip site that calls themselves a news portal.. http://www.lankaenews.com/news/1052/en

It's hard not to laugh at these jokes and how desperate this lankaenews.com company is :"D

It says here that the development funds in the OBA (which is required to develop a school with 8000 students - eg. The renovation of the kularathne hall, the new classrooms with interactive white boards and state of the art technology, the new technical section, painting and refurbishing the centuries old buildings,.. etc, etc,..the list goes on). And the money in this account can be only withdrawn with the signatures of the top OBA officials. Which is funny because it's indirectly calling the entire management and the OBA of Ananda College corrupt. Pathetic.

And the next accusation is against 'anada gee ranga'. (Fyi: Because they sold tickets and held it at BMICH) It's hard not to laugh at this specially considering that Ananda College is renowned for pioneering the biggest events in Sri Lanka (and we take pride in that; battle of the maroons, the colors Nite, Prashasthi, Pulz, ROM,.. Where does the list end?). That doesn't necesaarily mean that our Principal goes home with the profits, if he did, do the retards of editors at lankaenews think 8000 students and parents would stay quiet? I don't think so.

We all know the truth.
What's more sad is that the comments on this page need to be 'moderated' before they appear (I wonder why)

This is cleary just composed of hate and jealousy aimed at our school. What better way to cut a tree than to pick it at it's roots right?

Brothers, I ask you to spread and share this word, let the truth and your voices be heard! Stand together as Anandians and protect your alma mater and your Principal.

Don't let pathetic broke companies like these use media to tarnish our name! Let them know we stand with the truth!!!

Attesting to that great history ACWA has once again moulded an exemplary character to become the head prefect of ANANDA COLLEGE.
Binura gunasekara has been a member of acwa for 7 Years and since the begining he had shown the true talents of a leader, a sportsman and most of all a True Anandian.
