We are Southern Province Japan Karate Association situated at Galle Sri Lanka. We were affiliated with Japan Karate Association and Japan Karate Federation till 2007 and since we are affiliated with International Japan Karate Association. Our full membership stands over 1000 members and our active student base counts up to 500 each year and it keeps up growing. We have participated in Internationa

l tournaments and in world tournaments with in the past few years. Being a 6 Dan black belter with a vast experience in instructing of 36 years; our chief Instructor Sensei Wimal Wasantha Kumara Ganegoda have managed to bring the organization to new heights.

Heartfelt congratulations to the talented athlete of our Karate Club who has excelled not only in karate but also in cricket. We are delighted that he had the opportunity to visit England and represent his skills by playing cricket with a school team there. We wish him continued success and a bright future in both karate and cricket. Best wishes from our association
