Today match between Embilipitiya SCC vs Walawa Lions..
Walawa Lions won the toss and selected to bowl first..
So Walawa Lions got a good start with an early wicket in the powerplay...But Poorna and Akash built a 100+ partnership with a great effort...
SCC boys scored 237 for just 26 overs...
Walawa Lions took a good start and kept few awesome partnerships..how ever Akash and Basuru took the ball on theri hand and took the match to SCC's side with taking 7 wickets together...
SCC won by 100 runs...

It was a good opportunity to have a friendly match with them and hope to play an another with Walawa Lions....

Today practice match between Embilipitiya SCC team A vs SCC team B....

SCC team A won the toss and selected to bat first...
Our middle order batsmn Kavindu had scored 56 runs with a wonderful rain of sixes..
Poorna scored 33 runs & Basuru score 20 runs.....
Ameesh had taken 2 important wickets in his very first over..
Akash & Shehan had taken 2 wickets..

SCC team B started to chase the target and Pivithuru took the1st wicket in the very first over of the match...
Then Akash and Thilan built a wonderful partnershipof 76 runs..
Akash has taken 38 runs with 1 six and 5 four runs...
Basuru broke their partnership after a huge effort..How ever Thilan showed his 11years of experience by getting 72 winning knock...

Finally SCC team B won the match by 7 wickets..

Yesterday 30 overs friendly match between SCC and Emb.National School under the leadership of our new vice captain...

Emb.Nat.Scl won the toss and elected to field first...
Vice cap. Basuru opened the 1st inning as his 1st time with captain Poorna Janith..they built a massive partnership and built a balanced score..
SCC - 204/10 (30 overs)
Poorna - 86 (4×7 , 6×3)
Basuru - 22 ( 4×1)
Kavindu - 26 (4×1 , 6×2)
Pivithuru - 24 (4×3 , 6×1)

Emb.Nat.Scl - 14/0 (7 overs)

Match had to be stopped due to heavy rain..

How ever that was a very enjoyable day and hope to play an another match with them...
