වර්ෂ 1977 ඇරඹි ඇඹිලිපිටිය ජනපති විදුහල් මාතාව 48 වසරක විශිෂ්ටත්වය අද දින සමරනු ලබනවා...

දහස් ගණන් සිසු දරු දැරියන්ගේ නැණ ඇස පාදමින් ඔවුන් අඳුරෙන් ආලෝකයට ගෙන සමාජයට මහගු මෙහෙවරක් ඉටු කරන,

ජනපති විදු මව්ණි ඔබට 48 වසරක සුභ උපන් දිනයක් වේවා!..

වැජඹේවා සදාකල් ජනපති විදු මව්ණි...

මහනුවර දිගන ක්‍රීඩාoගනයේදී පැවති 16 න් පහල සමස්ත ලංකා B division Rugby තරගාවලිය සඳහා අප ඇඹිලිපිටිය ජනාධිපති විද්‍යාලයීය 16 න් පහල Rugby කණ්ඩායම සහභාගී වූ අතර එම තරගාවලියේ පළඟ ශූරතාවය යටතේ තරඟකොට අප පාසල අනුශූරතාවය දිනා ගන්නා ලදී, මෙම ජයග්‍රහණය පිටුපස සෙවනැල්ලක් සේ කණ්ඩායම වෙනුවෙන් පුහුණුකරුවෙක් ලෙස කටයුතු කරන දිනේෂ් මල්ලිටත් අප පාසල් Rugby කණ්ඩායමටත් උණුසුම් සුබ පැතුම්. ඒවගේම මෙම තරගාවලිය සඳහා සහභාගි වීමේදී පාසල වෙනුවෙන් කටයුතු කළ අප පාසලේ විදුහල්පතිතුමාටත් ක්‍රීඩා බාර ආචාර්ය ලසන්ති ගුරුතුමියටත්, ෂෙරීන් ක්‍රීඩා පුහුණුකාර මහත්මියටත් බෙහෙවින් ස්තූතිවන්ත වන අතර අප පාසලේ ආදි ශිෂ්‍යයකු වන ඉෂාන් හේමචන්ද්‍ර මහතා විසින් කණ්ඩායමට අවශ්‍ය ප්‍රථමාදාර කට්ටලයක් ලබා දෙන ලදී, එම මහතාටත් බෙහෙවින්ම ස්තුතියි.......
