your last rep should look like your first…
just a lot harder

not a whole new movement
not your back jumping in
not you throwing it around just to hit the number

because if it looks different… it is

and it’s not building what you think it is

that last rep?
it’s slow
it’s shaky
it almost doesn’t go 😭

but it’s still controlled
still the same path
still shoulders doing the work

that’s how you know you’re actually training hard enough

not when the weight keeps moving no matter what
but when you’re right on the edge of losing it—and you don’t
that’s the one that actually builds muscle 🤍
