Official Announcement: Appointment of Head Coach

The Hulftsdorp Boxing Club is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Gihan Madhuwantha as our Head Coach.

A distinguished Sri Lankan National Level Boxing Coach and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Mr. Madhuwantha brings elite expertise from his formidable coaching career and technical leadership at Ananda College Colombo 10, USJP, and BACK 2 FIT Boxing & Fitness Club to the Hulftsdorp Boxing Club.

This appointment represents a historic milestone for our institution. By successfully securing a dedicated professional coach to lead our program. The Hulftsdorp Boxing Club is pioneering a new era of structured athletics at the Sri Lanka Law College. This achievement is a testament to the rapid trajectory and the unwavering commitment to excellence of our emerging club.

The Patron, Vice Patron, and the President, together with the Executive Committee of the Hulftsdorp Boxing Club, officially extend a warm and prestigious welcome to Coach Gihan as he assumes his mandate in shaping our future champions.

The primary objective was to officially introduce boxing to the students of Sri Lanka Law College and formally announce a historic collaboration between these two academic giants. The event showcased the sport's discipline and technique through the participation of seasoned experts and promising young talent.

Furthermore, the program aimed to cultivate a lasting interest in boxing among the students of both Sri Lanka Law College and Ananda College.
