Ever wonder what a specific knee ache actually means? 🦵 Pain location is one of the best clues we have to identify what's going on! Here is a quick breakdown based on the graphic:
Front (Anterior): Issues like Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome, Quad/Patellar Tendinopathy, or Infrapatellar Fat Pad Irritation often flare up with squatting, jumping, or stairs.
Outer Side (Lateral): Discomfort here can stem from an LCL Injury, Lateral Meniscus Pathology, or IT Band Syndrome (common in runners and cyclists).
Inner Side (Medial): Pain on the inside is frequently linked to a Medial Meniscus Pathology, MCL Injury, or Pes Anserine Bursitis.
