Marketers into the Finals! 🏏🔥

A superb all-round performance by the Marketers in their semi-final clash against the Aviators has secured them a well-deserved spot in the PCL 2025 Finals! 🌟

After winning the toss, aviators elected to bat first. But they couldn't capitalize on the advantage of the toss early on as the wickets kept tumbling at regular intervals. Pankaja Perera was the lone warrior for Aviators with a 54 off 36 balls, but the rest of the batting lineup couldn’t provide support, and Aviators were restricted to 119 all out in 19.5 overs. Marketers skipper Roshan Derling led the bowling unit with a superb 3-19 in his 4 overs. 💥

Chasing the target, Marketers started strongly despite losing an early wicket. The innings was curtailed to 8.3 overs, but they had done enough to win by 14 runs (DLS method) and punch their ticket to the finals! Roshan Derling starred again, with the bat this time, scoring an unbeaten 23 off 24 balls to seal the deal. ⚡

Marketers are now in the finals! Who will step up as their challenger, and can Marketers claim the crown? 🏆✨

Marketers Continue Their Winning Streak! 💥

The Marketers’ campaign is flying high as they secured back-to-back wins, this time with a commanding 75-run victory over the Architects! 🏏

After winning the toss, Marketers elected to bat first — and they made full use of it. Geshan Kavinda Wimaladharma anchored the innings with a classy 59 off 37 balls, while Udara Peries (42 off 38) and Damith Weerasinghe (30 off 18) added valuable runs to lift them to a strong 165/6 in 20 overs. Dihan Dhamika was the pick of the bowlers for Architects, claiming 3 wickets. 🌟

The chase, however, turned into a one-man show from Udara Peries, who produced a fiery spell of 6 for 12 in 4 overs 🎯, tearing through the Architects’ batting lineup. He even added a run out to his tally, making it a match to remember. 🔥 In the end Architects could only score 90 in the chase. Architects skipper Azwin Haq was the highest scorer for Architects with 29 off 33. 🙌

Another superb performance by Marketers, will they keep their streak alive? 💪

🚀 Marketers Start Off with a Flyer! 💥

Marketers have started their campaign with an absolute dominant performance against Surveyors. 🔥

After winning the toss, Marketers invited Surveyors to bat first. The Surveyors innings never got going as they were bundled out to just 85 runs. Ruwan Perera was the lone warrior for Surveyors as he scored a superb 50 off 38 where the next highest score was 10. Pujitha Uduwana bowled superbly to pick up 4 wickets for just 14 runs. 🎯

The chase was nothing short of explosive. Gayan Rupasinghe started off with all guns blazing as he scored a firing 49 runs off just 18 balls. Marketers reached home in 8.1 overs with 8 wickets to spare. ⚡

It was a superb performance to start the campaign for Marketers, can they keep their winning momentum rolling? 🏆
