🇱🇰🥋 HISTORIC ACHIEVEMENT FOR SRI LANKAN TAEKWONDO 🥋🇱🇰

The Sri Lanka Taekwondo Federation is delighted to announce a historic achievement for Taekwondo in Sri Lanka.
For the first time in history, Sri Lankan Taekwondo has earned the opportunity to represent the country at a Youth Olympic Games. 🇱🇰🏅

The Sri Lanka Taekwondo Federation has successfully secured the opportunity to send an athlete to participate in the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, scheduled to be held in November 2026.

The Final Selection Trial to select the most suitable athlete to represent Sri Lanka at this prestigious event was successfully conducted on 30 August 2026 at the Ministry of Sports Hostel Indoor Gymnasium.

We extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone who supported and contributed to the successful completion of this important selection process.

This is a proud and historic milestone for Sri Lankan Taekwondo. 🇱🇰🥋❤️

🥋🇱🇰 2026 Korean Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo Championships - Preliminary Rounds Successfully Concluded!

The preliminary rounds of the 2026 Korean Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo Championships were successfully held from August 9–11 at the Wathupitiwala Indoor Stadium.

Over three days, athletes from across the country showcased their skill, discipline, determination, and true spirit of Taekwondo. We extend our appreciation to all athletes, coaches, referees, officials, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to the success of the preliminary rounds.
