Jetwing Academy is pleased to announce its partnership with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as "Training Partners" for an ongoing development program known as the "Twinning Program for Homestays." Jetwing Academy is responsible for conducting the twinning sessions for homestays, as agreed upon with the support of ADB and SLTDA, in collaboration with Jetwing Hotels – Sri Lanka's leading hotel chain. This collaboration aims to provide significant support to enhance the standards of selected homestays registered with SLTDA in Sri Lanka to bolster tourism resilience.

ADB and the SLTDA organized a full-day training program for trainers attached to the Jetwing Academy and Jetwing Hotels. These trainers are responsible for the training and skill development of participants in the larger Twinning Program, which runs in six different locations panned across the country.

More countries are relaxing the COVID-19 related travel restrictions. There is progress from Sri Lanka as well. We are glad to see Sri Lanka moving towards a successful adaptation to be the #1 travel destination in the world again.

Fun tip: UK, Singapore, Australia are already lining up to open borders for the fully vaccinated travelers. This means, it won’t be too long before tourism in Sri Lanka will be back to what it used to be: amazing!
