ශ්රී ලංකා සාම්ප්රදායික මුයේතායි සංගමය යනු Muay Boran සහ WMO වෘත්තිය Muay Thai සටන් කලා ක්ශේත්රය තුල සටන් කලා දේශපාලනය සහ කුහකත්වයන් තොරව ජාතික සහ ජාත්යන්තර අවස්ථා ලබා දීමට කැපවූ ස්වාධීන සංවිධානයකි. මෙය ශ්රී ලංකාවේ අනෙක් සටන් කලා සංවිධාන සමග සහයෝගයෙන් හා සුහදශීලී සම්බන්ධතාවයෙන් කටයුතු කිරීම අරමුණු කරගත් මිත්රශීලී සංවිධානයකි. අනෙක් සටන්කලා ශික්ෂණවල නියැලෙන අතර ඔබට අප හා එක්වී ඔබේ සංගමය දියුණුක
ර ගැනීමටත් අසාධාරණ සම්බාධක වලින් තොරව ජාතික හා ජාත්යන්තර පුහුණු වැඩසටහන් වලට සහභාගීවීමේ අවස්ථාව උදාකරගත හැක.මෙය WMBF, WMO, සහ KMA සංගමයන්හි ජාතික නියෝජනයයි. මෙය තරඟකාරී හෝ වෙනත් මුයේතායි (Muay Thai) පාලන මණ්ඩලවල ආදේශකයක් නොවන බව පැහැදිලිව අවධාරණය කළ යුතුය.ශ්රී ලංකාවේ WMBF සහ WMO අසීමිත වර්ධන හැකියා අවස්ථා සහ අඛණ්ඩව පවත්වාගෙන යන වර්ධනය කිරීමේ අධ්යාපනික වැඩසටහන් ඉදිරිපත් කරයි. සංගම් සංවිධාන හා වෙනත් මණ්ඩල අතිමහත් සංඛ්යාවක් අතර ගෝලීය සටන් කලා පවුලක සංකල්පය ගොඩනැගීම සඳහා මෙයට සම්භන්ධ සෑම අයෙකුගේම අඛණ්ඩ කැපවීමක් අවශ්යවේ.ඔවුන්ගේ සටන් කලා ශීක්ශනය, වයස, සමේ පාට, ස්ත්රී පුරුශ භාවය හෝ ප්රදේශය නොසලකා සියලුම සටන් කලාකරුවන්ගේ එකමුතුව තුලින් සියලු පුද්ගලයින්ට සහ ඕනැම ප්රමාණයක කණ්ඩායම් වලට ඉතාම සාර්ථක සටන් කලා සමාජයක් වීමේ ප්රස්තාව ලැබෙනු ඇත. උසස් ප්රමිතින් පවත්වාගෙන යෑමත්, සම්ප්රදායන්ට ගරු කිරීමත් සැබෑ හරය ( ජීවය ) රැකගැනීමත් සංවර්ධනය සහ අධ්යාපනය දිරිගැන්වීමත් මෙහි අරමුණකි. WMO, WMBF සහ KMA ශීග්රයෙන් ලොව පුරා පිලිගැනීම දිනාගනිමින් ශීග්රයෙන් දියුණු වන සංවිධාන වේ. මාර්තු මස පැවැත් වන වාර්ශික ජාත්යන්තර International Thai Martial Arts Games ජාත්යන්තර සටන් කලා ශූරතාවලි වල පෙරමුණ ලබාගත හැකි වූයේ මෙම අතිමහත් සාර්ථකත්වය නිසාය.KMA යනු Muay Thai “Kru” යන Muay Boran ජාත්යන්තරව පිළිගත් ශ්රේණිගත කිරීම් ව්යුහය ලෙස ලියාපදිංචි කරන තායිලන්තයේ සංස්කෘතික අමාත්යංශයේ පිළිගත් එකම සංගමයයි. KMA ජේෂ්ඨ Grand Masters, තායිලන්ත ක්රීඩා අධිකාරිය මගින් පිළිගෙන ඇත. තායි සටන් කලා වල නියැලෙන පුද්ගලයන්ට සහ ක්රීඩා සමාජ වලට අප හා එක්වීමට සුහදව ආරාධනා කෙරේ. Main objectives:
•To present information about the MB & WMO-SL to instructors, students, and those with an interest in the Art of Muay Boran & WMO fights.
•To provide members easy communication with KMA, WMBF & WMO-SL National Governing body.
To select members & fighters for the International event and championship
To sanction national grading and ranking system
Information will be added to this group on a regular basis. This will provide those interested in the Muayboran & WMO fights with a continuous source of accurate and authoritative information. Dushantha Perera has been appointed as National Representative of KMA,WMBF and WMO has been studying Muaythai since 2000, Dushantha Perera - MSc , Bsc (Hon) Sports Science UK & Diploma in Sports Science – National institute of Sports, Sri Lanka is providing members with guidance from over 20 years’ experience. Our squad consists of internationally trained, qualified instructors and referees and administrative officers. The MB & WMO-SL was established to develop, preserve and expand the study of the Art and international participation of MUAY BORAN without "martial arts politics" and to establish international relationships associated with MUAY BORAN & WMO. About Muayboran
Muay Boran (“ancient boxing”) refers to the various styles of Thai martial arts. The most famous Muay Boran fighter was Nai Khanomtom. It is said that in 1774 he fought 10 Burmese fighters, one after the other, and beat them all. The Burmese King was so impressed that he freed Nai Khanomtom and allowed him to return to his home in Thailand where he quickly became well known and spread his new fighting style. Each area of the country had it’s particular style of Muay Boran, such as Muay Chaiya, Muay Lopburi, Muay Korat, and so forth. In the early 20th century, Muay Boran was modernized with the introduction of rules, boxing rings and training equipment and has become the current Thai Boxing sport that we see today in boxing stadiums in Thailand and around the world.
