Vadamaradchi Sports Club of the Deaf was celebrating its 10th anniversary with a golden function on 10 September 2023. The VODSC was invited to the Batticaloa Sports Club of the Deaf (BSCD), and we arrived in Point Pedro at 4:30 am on September 8, 2023. We stayed there for three days, during which Batticaloa's cricket and football teams competed against Mullaittivu, Trincomalee, Vavuniya, and Point Pedro. Batticaloa's cricket team was thrilled to secure the 3rd place, while the football team was ecstatic about their 1st place win. We extend our heartfelt thanks to VODSC.
