Our homecoming activities were a success only thanks to the people that were committed to our cause and supported us either by attending and participating in the time trial competition or by sponsoring our event and we would like to thank BAU activities, BuyCycle, Akkar Trail درب عكار, Kadi's and Generation of BMX for their great support and prizes.

Good morning peeps and welcome back to BAU, just wanted to mention that our co-founder Omar Samman met lately with the new mayor of Tripoli Dr. Riad Yamak along with Bicycle Mayor of Tripoli and discussed future plans for a cycling friendly environment in Tripoli and Dr. Riad encourages everyone to cycle to work or uni to help raise awareness and save the city from pollution.

Stay prepared for our coming activities and inform your friends to join the community and Bike to BAU.

Bicycle mayor Natheer Halawani, and BAU Bike Club co-founder Omar Samman, meeting the new mayor of Tripoli Dr. Riad Yamak. A follow up meeting will soon take place to discuss a detailed ex*****on roadmap to turn Tripoli into a cycling Haven.

We're happy to have so many BAU students with us and from other universities on our launch event and hopefully many others will be motivated by this club we made and start commuting with their bicycle. Hopefully you will join us again on our upcoming events.

The Students Activities Department at Beirut Arab University - Debbieh Campus organized on Wednesday April 03, 2019 its Second University Bike Championship at the campus.
Twenty participants, male and female, came from all University campuses to take part in this race.
Winners received medallions and trophies according to the following scores:

Male category:

1st Place :Raed Walid Farran (Architecture-Design&Built Env- Tripoli Campus 13’,30’’ )
2nd Place :Omar Kanaan Al Samman ( Faculty Of Science – Tripoli Campus 13’,31’’ )
3rd Place Sleiman Mohamad Ali Mohamad ( Faculty Of Engineering – Tripoli Campus 18’,40’’ )

Female category :

1st Place : Jana Khaled Abbas(Faculty Of Engineering -Tripoli Campus 30’,550’’ )
