Lebanese Women's Rugby Union The Lebanese Women's Rugby Union, empowering Lebanese women. Rugby Union is often seen as a very violent, manly game and not a place for fragile women.

The Lebanese Women's Rugby Union is a member of the Lebanese Rugby Union Federation and represents the LRUF both domestically and internationally in women's rugby. The Lebanese Women's Rugby Union and the LRUF seeks to encourage the playing of rugby amongst Lebanese women in line with the values, principles, standards and programs of the International Rugby Board as a fun, rewarding and empowering

activity. We at the Lebanese Women's Rugby Union do not subscribe to these stereotypical archetypes. Rugby Union is a courageous, vibrant sport whose core values of integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect empower all stakeholders in particular women. The Lebanese Women's Rugby Union strives to develop skillful players but more importantly, empowered women.

The Blue Stars and Beirut Aconites Rugby Women’s 7s teams participated in the International Women’s Open and the Women's Gulf respectfully at the Dubai 7s over the weekend, both making the Plate Semi Final and from all accounts it was an amazing experience!
Congratulations to our young ladies, your coaches and managers, you made your clubs, federation and country very proud!
