The Lebanese Delegation to Samarkand, Uzbekistan, has achieved great success at the Chess Olympiad!

🥈 The Lebanese Men’s Team secured 2nd place in Category C.
🏅 Four players earned their CM and WCM titles.
🏆 One player earned the WFM title.

Our arbiter, IA Jamal Shamieh, was part of the team in charge of the top 10 boards, carrying out his duties with great professionalism throughout the Olympiad.

Congratulations to the entire Lebanese team for their dedication, hard work, and commitment. Special appreciation to our captains for their excellent management, to the Head of Delegation for his leadership, and to the President of the Lebanese Chess Federation for his continuous support and for representing Lebanon with distinction.

A great achievement for Lebanese chess!

♟️ Teams FIDE-Rated Blitz 2026 ♟️

Under the supervision of the Lebanese Chess Federation, Shamieh Club and United Youth Association organized a remarkable FIDE-rated team blitz tournament, bringing together 150 players in 43 teams from all over Lebanon!

Congratulations to the winners:

🥇 Keshmat Warriors — 1st Place
🥈 Fianchetto — 2nd Place
🥉 Keshmat Knights — 3rd Place
🏅 Young Shamieh — 1st Under 14
🏅 Trouble Makers — 1st Under 1600 Elo

Beyond the results and the trophies, tournaments like this help spread the game of chess and create opportunities for passionate players of all ages and levels to challenge themselves, gain experience, and show their potential.

For some, it was a chance to gain valuable Elo points. For others, it was an opportunity to secure their first FIDE rating. And for everyone, it was another chance to learn from every game, every mistake, and every opponent.

A big thank you to all the players, teams, supporters, and everyone who trusted us and contributed to making such a large event possible.

Well done, everyone!
Keep playing. Keep learning. Keep evolving.
