Last Sunday began like any normal race day. In a single moment, everything changed forever. We lost Mohammad Ali Daaboul, a 17-year-old angel, running beside his beloved mother, and a precious part of our family that will never be the same again.

One week later, his family, his big running family, his friends, his loved ones, and the entire running community are still waiting for answers, for reports, for the truth of what happened to a young heart full of life.

Mohammad Ali did not cross the finish line on earth, but he won his race by reaching heaven, a more beautiful place than the one we are left in today.

Fly high, champion.
You will live in our hearts and in every step we take, forever. 🕊️🤍

Today our running family lost one of its youngest hearts.
Mohammad Ali Daaboul, a 17 year-old beautiful soul whose steps were full of life, hope, and dreams left us far too soon.
We are shattered, lost, and struggling to understand a pain this deep.

Our deepest condolences go to his family, loved ones and the running community.
He will forever run with us, in our hearts, our prayers, and every step we take.

بكل أسف وحزن،

اليوم فقدت عائلتنا أحد أصغر قلوبها.
محمد علي دعبول، روح جميلة في السابعة عشرة من عمره، كانت خطواته مليئة بالحياة والأمل والأحلام، غادرنا باكرًا قبل أوانه.
نحن مكسورون، تائهون، ونعجز عن استيعاب ألمٍ بهذا العمق.

نتقدّم بأحرّ التعازي إلى عائلته وأحبّائه وإلى مجتمع العدّائين كافة.
سيبقى محمد علي يركض معنا إلى الأبد، في قلوبنا، وفي دعائنا، وفي كل خطوة نخطوها.

2025 in 5 minutes, year full of miles, memories, effort, love, and shared victories. Every step, early morning, and finish line brought us closer and reminded us that together we are stronger than anything we face.

Thank you Hiamo for turning our year into this beautiful story we’ll always cherish.
