IMPORTANT INFORMATION
ELECTRONIC CHIP

READ AND SHARE

During sign-in process, you will get an envelop including the electronic chip for the timing.
You will have to wear it on either your left or right wrist.
At the finish line, there will be a board above the water that you’ll have to touch with your chipped hand.
Automatically the system will register your race time.

N.B: THE CHIP MUST BE RETURNED TO THE ORGANIZERS AT THE END OF THE RACE.

FAILING TO DO THIS WILL LEAD TO A $50 PENALTY.

82 swimmers will be competing this Sunday at the SPEEDO ATCL OPEN WATER RACE organized by ATCL, in collaboration with Louis Baz Sports and Events and under the supervision of the Lebanese Swimming Federation.

Some rules you should know:
- ALL swimmers should wear a colored cap (the flashier, the better).
- Wet suits are not allowed.
- Swimsuits are allowed only if approved by FINA.
- For the 1KM: buoys should always be on the right side of the swimmers EXCEPT the last one at the entrance of the port. This one will be on the left side.
- For the 3 & 6KM: buoys should be on the right side of the swimmers EXCEPT the last one at the entrance of the port. This one will be on the left side.
- For the 6KM, there will be 1 refueling boat at 3,500m (bottles of 0.3L will be distributed).
- Sunday’s program:
**7:00am to 7:45am: Registration and Body marking (Jetée area)
8:00am: Briefing
8:30am: Start of 3 & 6KM
8:50am: Start of 1KM
