You’re killing your diet, eating so good consistently and working out hard everyday but still you’re finding little to no results!?

Sleep is one of the 3 Core factors for fat loss or muscle gain.
Sleep pretty much regulates your metabolism. If you do not get enough of it, your body will eat away at your muscles and lower your BmR to a point where your body comes to a stop.

Struggling with fat loss? Don’t know how to exactly target that stubborn fat youve been dying to lose?
Well, learn how to get into your fat burning zone using these simple equations and get yourself on the right track to burning fat!
Follow these easy steps at home in this segment of How2Wednesdays and tag a friend who needs to know about this!

To get into your fat burning zone, Step 1 is finding your Max Heart rate which is : (Max Hr = 220- Age)
And then determine your fat-burning range, which is 60% to 70% of your max heart rate.

Once You Find Your MHR
Step 2, It is time to see how it correlates to your Lifestyle and how to use it to actually burn fat and not just calories!
Getting your heart rate closer to your max heart rate might show more calories being burned, but you’re not necessarily burning fat.
To really target where your body stores fat, you need to opt for lower intensity activities that keep your heart rate in the fat-burning zone for longer!

Step 3 is finding the right workout for you!
You need to find what can push you enough to get you in the desired zone you want🔥
A good example for a good cardio workout for gym lovers would be hitting a 30 minute finisher at the end of your lifting session , using 3-4 different cardio machines to spice it up a bit! 10 minutes on the treadmill, 10 minutes on the bike, 10 minutes on the elleptical machine!
Do that 3-4 times a week and stay within ur fat burning zone and reap in the results! Good luck🔥

Which one is better?
High intensity interval training (H.I.I.T)
or Low intensity steady state cardio( L.I.S.S) ?
In this segment of Ktchn talks we will highlight the differences between the two types and shed some light on they should be used!
Depending on your body type, and your goal at the gym, and the time you have ,you will find yourself wondering which type of cardio is adequate for you.
Well, they both are! However, here’s some of the differences in both :

⭕️Time : H.I.I.T can range from 10 up to 25 mins of really high intensity.
L.I.S.S can go from 30 minutes up to 2-3 hours.

⭕️Intensity : HIIT is the definition of a gut-wrenching tongue-out heavy breathing workout , that will basically take everything out of you using various movements that involves muscle strength and aerobic endurance.
LISS is not as hard as HIIT however to burn , you will need to be patient as you start burning calories almost half and hour into it. It involves things like walking, jogging, treadmills, jump ropes, cycling on a steady pace.

⭕️Calories burnt:
Understand that both types burn calories, however the after effect of both is different.
For LISS , you might work out for an hour, you might workout for two, however whatever calories you have burnt , are it for the day.
However, it is the opposite for HIIT.
If you work out for an intense 20 minutes, you might burn just as much calories as LISS did in an hour and you will keep burning calories almost up to 24hrs later.

If you are short on time, need fast results and you feel that you can really push through the workout without stopping, then HIIT would be good in helping you reach your target without eating up your muscles.
