As part of our comprehensive teacher training journey, we hold focused sessions where trainees come together to study anatomy and better understand how the body moves.

These classes are designed to build the foundation needed to become not just certified instructor, but a knowledgeable teacher who can recognize imbalances, adapt exercises, and guide clients toward functional, safe, and lasting results.

Understanding anatomy helps us move beyond choreography and truly connect movement to purpose,.. so we can teach to heal, support and elevate others through Pilates.

“ As an art performer, I use my body as my instrument.
Pilates classes have been invaluable as the learning has guided me on how to use it right without injuring myself. Especially when it comes to puppeteering, where I must hold my arm up for a long time, holding a rather heavy puppet. I stay very mindful to let the movement come from my core, making sure the tailbone is curled, the psoas muscles activated and connected all the way to my feet, while my blades are magnetized, protecting my shoulder. Often, Maya’s voice resonates in my ears prompting to not hyperextend my arm! Her classes are very precious and detailed and give me the freedom to trust my movements while at work. “ -Noura S.

This year, our studio turns 16! We had hoped to celebrate our 15th last year, but due to the circumstances, it just wasn’t the time.
