Lebanon Rugby 'Lebanon in Union' – Uniting Lebanon through Rugby. Established in 2009, we are a Full Member of Asia Rugby and an Associate Member of World Rugby.

Lebanon Rugby is the official governing body for Rugby Union in Lebanon, dedicated to developing, promoting, and growing the sport nationwide. Driven by passion, unity, and resilience, we support rugby at every level, from grassroots and schools to our men’s and women’s national teams, The Phoenix. Our mission is to build a strong rugby culture that represents the values of teamwork, respect, and

pride, while showcasing Lebanon’s spirit on the international stage. Through the continued efforts of Lebanon Rugby and the hard work of its stakeholders, Rugby Union in Lebanon is becoming a popular sport and played by male and female players of all ages. The success of the Phoenix on the international stage and particularly in Asia, has served as a major push for player recruitment at both senior and grassroots levels. The inclusion of Rugby Sevens as an Olympic sport served as a major push for the sport in Lebanon and in the Middle East.

During these difficult times, it’s important we support our people in need, grow closer as a community, and appreciate the small things in life.

Meet us at Champville Stadium, Saturday 18th, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. for a community day to play some non-contact rugby and collect some donations. *Mixed teams will be structured and announced on the day of.*

Donate clothes 👚 & toys 🧸 that we will distribute to the shelters, and money that will go to Sofra to feed the displaced and supporting local businesses.

💴 Entrance fee: 10$
