Lebanon does not only compete on court! – 100 Researchers, 25 Finalists and Second Place Worldwide🇱🇧🌍
For the first time, our foot stepped the international scientific stage for Sports Psychology. We did not just attend, we won!🏅
Dr. Nathalie Jbeily, the Lebanese pioneer in sports psychology, made a historical scientific achievement: She presented the first scientific studies in history on Lebanese athletes in FEPSAC 2026 European Congress, the most important European conferences in sports psychology, competing with a big number of researchers across the world.
Nathalie made it into the Top 25 shortlisted finalists and clinched the second place for the Young Researcher Award🥈
Until today, Lebanese athletes have been completely sidelined from international science essentials. No studies, no data, no voice! This research was conducted in collaboration with 21 elite Lebanese athletes, who built their path in the midst of wars and economic collapse, and placed Lebanon on the global scientific stage for the first time in history.
The scientific world now recognizes our athletes, their abilities and challenges. One more time, Lebanon has proved its ability to bring the whole world's attention in sports🏆
Nathalie holds a PhD in Sports Psychology from Université de Lausanne. She's a Clinical Sports Psychologist, who previously served the Lebanese National Teams. Nathalie was also among our esteemed panelists, as part of the second edition of "Solidarity Campaign for Lebanon"
