Routes ® is a one-stop bicycle rental shop with different adventure events and activities, specializing in touring and various events for locals and tourists.

This Saturday, a unique adventure awaits in the mountains of Akoura.

Join Routes, for an easy sunset hike that combines the best of the season. We start with a stop at a local cherry orchard where we enjoy cherry picking and experience one of Akoura’s most cherished traditions.

From there, the adventure begins on foot through the landscapes of Akoura, passing by its beautiful lakes and gradually ascending toward a panoramic peak where we will enjoy the sunset over the mountains.

After the hike, we return to the village for a warm bonfire gathering with pre-ordered local food, good company, and a relaxed atmosphere to end the day.

And of course, each participant will take home 1 kg of freshly picked cherries.

Event Details:

* DATE: Saturday, June 6.
* MEETING POINT:
🚌 Beirut Al Nahar Building - Martyrs’ Square Downtown (we can pick up hikers along the way) at 2:30 PM.
🚙 Byblos Public Park at 3:30 PM.

‼️ PS: Punctuality is highly important!

* HIKE DEPARTURE: 4:45 PM.
* HIKE DURATION: 3 to 3.5 hours (including cherry picking).
* DISTANCE: Approximately 7 KM.
* HIKE DIFFICULTY: Easy.

BE PREPARED:
Bring at least 1L of water, light snacks, comfortable hiking shoes, a light jacket for the evening, a headlamp or flashlight, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a small backpack.

Under the moonlight

This Saturday, we’re thrilled to enjoy a spontaneous Sunset and Full moon hike.

Join us for an unforgettable adventure through a breathtaking cedars forest.
Starting in between Hadath al-Jibbeh and Tannourine Cedars Reserve, we’ll hike through serene landscapes and ascend to the summit near the iconic Patriarch Room, where we will take our time to enjoy the magical Sunset.
From there, we’ll descend toward the magical cedars of Niha under the moonlight and finish in Niha village. 🌲

Get ready to immerse yourself in the beauty of Lebanon’s sunset golden colors.

After our hike, We will enjoy warm meals and tea to warm up after our adventure at a local house. 🥘 🍲

Bring at least 1.5 liters of water, energy-boosting snacks (like dried fruits and nuts), hiking clothes, hiking shoes, head or hand light (Optional), and a jacket to stay warm.

Kadisha valley a world heritage site protected by the UNESCO for its beauty and richness in history, culture and natural beauty.
This Sunday we will wander into the holy valley of kadisha, scattered with caves, chapels, rivers, waterfalls, hermitages and monasteries carved in the rocky face of the valley.
We will start our trail from the top of Hadsh*t village passing by hawka and fradis village.
We will stop by the end of our hike at a local restaurant for some tasty bites 🥗

The mountain side of summer ⛰️☀️

This Sunday we will wander in the last unexplored section of the valley, following the Jaouz river and chasing down the waterfalls along the trail 🌲.
We will start our hike from kfarhelda, following the roar of the waterfalls to reach the bottom of the valley. After that we move down the river stream to reach the second fall ending our hike in kaftoun passing by an old hydroelectric station.
We will end our day at a local restaurant in Batroûn for some tasty bites 🥗
