Pilates isn’t one-size-fits-all…because bodies aren’t one-size-fits-all either.

Some days, the goal is to build strength. Some days, it’s to improve mobility, balance or control. And sometimes, one small adjustment is what finally helps everything make sense.

At ENERGY, we don’t expect every person in the room to move in exactly the same way. We look at the body in front of us, the goal behind the movement and what that person needs on that particular day.

That might mean working on the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair or Mat. It might mean joining a class, starting with private training or modifying an exercise so that it works better for your body.

The movement may look different - but it should always have purpose.

What happens when Pilates gets a little wobbly? 😉

Adding an unstable surface can turn a familiar exercise into a completely different challenge - but the BOSU isn’t there simply to make the movement harder.

Every wobble provides feedback.

It shows you where you may be losing connection, where you need greater support and how your body responds when the surface beneath you changes.

Here, Bronwyn takes Swan Dive and Swimming onto the BOSU, challenging her body to continually adjust, reconnect and maintain control while she moves.

It usually starts with one person in the office saying, “We should do Pilates for Pink…” 💗

Then come the emails, the team list - and the colleague who has absolutely no idea what they’ve signed up for. 😜

For twenty years, Cayman’s corporate community has been a huge part of Pilates for Pink. Companies have sponsored staff registrations, organized teams, shared the event internally - and arrived with some seriously impressive team spirit.

This year, we would love to see even more Cayman companies join us.

Your company can sponsor a team - or simply share the event with your staff so they can register individually. Every registered participant will also receive a complimentary class at ENERGY Pilates.

All proceeds go directly to the Cayman Islands Cancer Society, helping provide financial assistance and support to cancer patients and their families across the Cayman Islands.

Our Saturday ESSENTIALS class is a great place to begin - Reformer fundamentals, a little more time to learn, and no expectation that you already know what all those springs are for. 😉
