The first game of the 2015 Korea Independent Hockey League is this weekend, Saturday, May 2nd. Come out to support the Titans. The bus is free from outside Taco Bell in Itaewon at 7:30 and will drop you off after the game, around 11:30. Beer will be on sale at the rink for the first time.

The Titans came out firing in the first preseason game against the Waves. In a fast-paced and hard-hitting game the Titans skated away with a 5-2 win. The Titans went up 1-0 on a nice goal from a passing play down deep on the power play by Kyuhun Kim assisted by Aaron Geddes and Ned Aiken, and then went up 2-0 on a nice play on the rush with a goal from Ivan Cherwinski assisted by Riley Horgan and Patrick Dynan. The Waves drew one back with a short handed breakaway goal to end the first period 2-1.

In the second period, the Titans scored two more goals, both by Patrick Dynan with Riley Horgan picking up two assists and Ivan Cherwinski picking up one. The first was a hard snap shot over the goalie's shoulder on a rush and the second by picking up his own rebound and sliding it past the goalie.

With the 3rd period starting 4-1, the Titans picked up a fifth goal by Riley Horgan on a giveaway from the Waves goalie. The Waves pulled one back midway through the 3rd with a power play goal but that was all they could manage and the game ended 5-2.

Youngwoo Kim was solid in net and made it very difficult for the Waves to get the puck past him conceding only a breakaway goal and a top corner tip on a Waves power play.
