Great to see FastPong and Dr.Kie Brooks our CTO's story featured on KBS and show how FP02 being used at Hanyang University 🏓
FP02 is the result of taking our technology from development to commercialization and using current users data to furthure development and ehnahcment into real training environments. Today, FastPong is already being used by high-performance training centers, professional teams, and coaches in different countries, and now we’re also seeing it being adopted in universities and education.
For us, that’s one of the best signs that the technology is moving beyond a labs and becoming a real training tool for everyday use.

🏓 Do your table tennis robot drills actually transfer to real matches?

Robot training is great for repetition, timing, and technique—but it’s easy to focus entirely on the incoming ball:

Where is it going?
What spin does it have?
Can I get into position and execute the stroke?

In a real match, however, you also need to decide where to send the ball back.

That’s why placement should be a key part of robot training. Fastpong’s illuminated targets synchronize with the robot, requiring players to track the incoming ball and identify the correct return location at the same time.

The Fastpong app also records:

✅ Target accuracy
✅ Return speed
✅ Missed-shot locations on a heatmap

We’ve created five drills that progress from basic placement practice to footwork and match-oriented combinations.
