It has been a pleasure to welcome to the ITF HQ Center of Excellence in Sejong City United Traditional Tae Kwon-Do Canada Team led by Grand Master Darin Gibson.
The guests arrived at our center in the early afternoon and after a short introduction began a training conducted by Master Zibby Kruk (Australian) and Master Cho (Korean). The training consisted of two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, Master Z Kruk introduced ITF HQ, management, programs, and plans. Then he presented “the Taekwon-Do circle” explaining its components, also briefly touching on the theory of power and Taekwon-Do secrets.
The second part (practicals) was conducted by Master Cho from Seoul who is not only an ITF-certified master but also spent 6 years in Oman working as a Martial Arts Instructor in the Royal Oman Police Special Task Force. He focused on Kicking principles.
At the end, our guests received certificates of visit and took memorable pictures.
In a very friendly atmosphere, Grand Master Darin, President Oh, and Secretary General Zibby Kruk talked about the state of Taekwondo, TKD history, pioneers, and friends who were known by each party.
The Canadian team left the ITF HQ Center of Excellence in the late afternoon to continue their journey throughout Korea for a few more days.
