Nic working on horizontal push (chest, shoulders and triceps). On the way to pushsups from the floor. Her first pushups from pin number 15. Now she can do pushsups 18 inches lower than when she first started. Nothing fancy but slow & steady foundation stuff work better in the long run.

Nic is doiny 50kg (111lbs) Deadlift for reps. It's not perfect but she has improved so much since Nic and I started training together. Rome wasn't built in a day. As long as you keep it consistent. You will improve overall eventually.
Sometimes your progress can be slow. Start somewhere and don't give up.

Sam is AMAZING! I started with him at the beginning of October. I gave him a goal for lifting and weight loss, and we have steadily been marching toward that goal. I had gastric surgery last spring, so I was very anxious about getting flabby as I loose weight. Sam has helped keep me so much more toned and trimmed. He has also been very helpful in managing my old knee and shoulder injuries, so I've built a lot of strength/endurance without hurting myself [AGAIN, like when I try to work out on my own]. He is great about modifying different exercises to fit what my body can handle on any given day, but he also encourages me to push for my personal best whenever possible. He gives me the confidence to break through my mental wall and self-doubt. That's why I have signed up for two rounds of 10 sessions so far, and I plan on keep signing up throughout 2022. On top of everything, he has been very understanding and flexible with my schedule, so I'm never stressed about how to juggle my calendar. Therefore and thus: you need Sam in your life!

Over 70% of Americans are considered obese or overweight. And 80% do not meet baseline physical activity requirements to combat chronic preventable lifestyle diseases. Seems as though EXERCISE may be a simple first step solution for many to start managing their weight WHILE living a more active lifestyle.

Check your training intensity/consistency if you are not progressing. One of reasons could be you are not training hard enough. You don't have to reach failure or close to it every set/session but it has to be hard enough to stimulate your body. Do you want to know what's training hard but safe/effective? Book an appointment. Nordic Hamstring Curl is known for one of the most effective hamstring exercise to prevent/reduce risk of injury but under utilized by general population. You will get really great contraction performing this exercise. If you haven't tried it yet. Please gvie it a try. This is an advanced movement so you can use a swissball to assist you or a swiss ball on the second video or resistance bands.

Horizontal Push is one of the most fundamental pressing (push) movements that develops your chest, shoulder, triceps. Kneeling Pushups can be useful for a beginner.

Most female and people without training experience find bodyweight pushups quite challenging. If you are a beginner who is having a hard time with regular pushups, kneeling pushups can be a great alternative. If kneeling pushups are too easy, you can keep your feet off the floor.

If kneeling pushups off the floor are too hard then you can do kneeling pushups on an elevated surface like a bench/chair/couch.

Inhale on the way down
Exhale on the way up
Aim 10 reps per sets
Progress as it gets easier, if you can do 12+ reps per pet

Your elbows should not be too high. Not on your shoulder level. Not T. More like /\ Shape it will help you keep your rotator cuff safe and stabilized.

오늘은 가장 기본이 되는 수평밀기 동작인 가슴, 어깨, 팔을 골고루 발달시켜주는 운동 닐링 푸시업. 무릅대고 푸시업 (팔꿉혀펴기)입니다.

대다수의 여성분이나 운동경험이 거의 없는 분들은 맨몸 푸시업도 힘든 경우가 대부분입니다. 기초근력이 부족한 초보자라면 무릅/발을 바닥에 대고 하는 푸시업이 좋은 대안이 될수 있습니다. 적응이 되어 너무 쉽다면 발을 들어주어 지면에 닿지않은 상태에서 푸시업을 수행합니다. 맨바닥에서의 푸시업도 힘들다면 제일 밑 마지막 사진과 같이 의자 (벤치)등의 바닥보다 높은 곳에서 하면 보다 쉽게 푸시업이 가능합니다. 숨은 내려가면서 들이마시고 올라오면서 내뱉습니다. 10개 이상 연속으로 가능한 높이 자세를 찾으셔서 꾸준하게 연습하시면 됩니다

높은 높이에서 시작하여 단계적으로 낮아질수록 어려워집니다

사진 4. 1번 푸시업도 어렵다면 의자 (벤치) 등을 활용하여 높이를 높여서 무릅과 발 전부 지면에 닿은 상태로 수행합니다.

팔의 넓이와 각도는 너무 넓거나 높지 않게 팔꿈치가 어깨높이 T 자의 형태가 아닌 /\ 형태로 가슴 중간정도에 오는게 회전근개의 부담을 줄여주고 안정적으로 동작이 수행가능하도록 합니다.
