***2027 KOREA TRAINING CAMP FOR FUTURE CHAMPIONS***

Becoming a champion requires more than simply training hard. It takes the right training methods, practical competition strategies, and the mental strength to overcome the most challenging moments.

At the 2027 Korea Training Camp, athletes will be personally coached by Professor Dae-sung Moon, an Olympic gold medalist and Taekwondo Grand Slam champion. In addition, renowned Olympic coaches will participate in the training program and share the practical experience and expertise required to reach the highest level of competition.

This may be the toughest training camp you have ever experienced. Through continuous live sparring with Korean athletes and fellow participants in the program, the camp will be designed to bring you one step closer to your Olympic dream. If you overcome every challenge and complete the journey, you will be one step closer to becoming a Future Champion.

***MAIN PROGRAMS***
- Professional coaching by an Olympic gold medalist and Olympic coaching staff
- Poomsae and Kyorugi training alongside Korean athletes
- High-intensity training to improve physical fitness and competitive performance
- Pre-training massage and stretching techniques for injury prevention
- Massage and recovery methods for managing sports injuries
- Sports taping techniques that athletes can apply to themselves
- Practical taping training to help prevent and manage injuries in other athletes

In particular, the sports taping program will not be a one-time experience. It will be delivered through regular, structured classes. Participants will learn not only how to apply sports taping to themselves but also how to safely and correctly provide taping support to other athletes.

All athletes participating in the training camp will receive a Taekwondo uniform and a bag.

Participants who successfully complete the sports taping course will receive a Certificate.

***2027 PARTICIPATION SCHEDULE***

WOTF International Taekwondo Festival Day 5

Today we visited Bulguksa Temple (불국사) in Gyeongju - one of the most iconic and historically significant temples in all of Korea!

Built during the Silla Dynasty, Bulguksa is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and represents some of the finest examples of Buddhist Architecture and design from that era. Walking through the temple grounds, we got to see beautifully preserved structures, intricate stone pagodas, and serene courtyards that have stood the test of time for over a thousand years.

Every corner of the temple told its own story, and we took our time soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and the incredible craftsmanship around us. The surrounding views were just as stunning - the mountains, the greenery, and the temple itself coming together to create such a breathtaking scene.

It was such a meaningful experience getting to walk through a piece of Korea's history and culture

WOTF International Taekwondo Federation Day 4

Today we had the pleasure of visiting Dong-A University (동아대학교) in Busan!

Dong-A University is one of the well-established universities in the region, known for its strong academic programs and active student community. It was great opportunity to step onto the campus and experience a glimpse of university life in Korea firsthand.

We had the chance to meet some wonderful people along the way and watch the students train - their discipline, focus, and dedication were truly impressive to see up close. It's always inspiring to connect with fellow practitioners and exchange that shared passion, even across different schools and backgrounds.

A big thank you to everyone at Dong-A University who made us feel so welcome!

WOTF International Taekwondo Festival Day 3

The fun doesn't stop when the day ends - it continues on the bus!

On the way back to the hotel, the whole crew turned the bus into their own personal karaoke stage and honestly? We were HERE for it! The singing, the laughing, the absolute chaos - it was one of those spontaneous moments that you just can't plan but end up being the most memorable part of the trip

There's something really special about a group that can have this much fun together, on and off the mat. These are the moments that bring everyone closer and make the trip so much more than just training and competing.

Best bus ride ever? We think so!

WOTF International Taekwondo Festival Day 3

Taejongdae (태종대) did NOT disappoint!

we made our way out to one of Busan's most stunning natural landmarks and wow - the views were absolutely breathtaking! Taejongdae is one of those places that just stops you in your tracks the moment you see it.

We hiked along the trail soaking in all the incredible scenery, made a stop at the Taejongdae Observatory (전망대) for those jaw-dropping panoramic views of the sea, and wrapped it up with a visit to the iconic Yeongdo Lighthouse (영도 등대) standing tall against the cliffs and crashing waves.

The trail was such a good time - great views at every turn, fresh sea breeze, and good vibes all around! Honestly one of those spots that reminds you just how beautiful Busan really is.

WOTF International Taekwondo Festival Day 2

Our family event brought together parents and students for a day packed with fun, laughter, and some seriously good memories! It was so amazing to see everyone come together - the energy was absolutely electric from start to finish!

Let's talk about the star of the show - the board breaking event! Whether it was the students showing off their skills or the parents giving it a go, EVERYONE wanted a piece of the action and the crowd went absolutely wild for it! Safe to say, a few boards didn't stand a chance!

And if that wasn't enough, we had teams battling it out in a tug-of-war and jumping their hearts out in a team jump-rope challenge! The cheering, the competitiveness, the teamwork - it was a blast from beginning to end!

Days like these remind us why community and family are at the heart of everything we do. Can't wait to do it all again!

WOTF International Taekwondo Festival Day 2

What an unforgettable day!

Watching the students compete was nothing short of incredible - the energy, the passion, and the heart they poured into every match had everyone on the edge of their seats! The competition was exciting from start to finish, and we are beyond proud to share that the teams brought home many well-deserved medals!

But more than the trophies and medals, what truly made this day special was seeing every single student walk away with a great expreience and memories that will last a lifetime. Win or lose, each and every one of them gave it their all and that is something to be incredibly proud of.

To our amazing students - you made everyone proud today and every day. Here's to more victories, more memories, and more growth ahead!

WOTF International Taewkondo Festival Day 1 (Dinner)

Jeonju has long been considered the food capital of Korea, and its bibimbap is known for its rich variety of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients - traditionally featuring over 30 toppings including seasoned vegetables, beef tartar, a fried egg, and a generous dollop of gochujang. It's also uniquely served in a warm stone bowl with a base of bean sprout soup broth rice, giving it a depth of flavor that's hard to match!

The dish traces its roots back to the Joseon Dynasty, where it was enjoyed as a royal delicacy and also as a communal meal during harvest festivals. Over centuries, Jeonju's cooks perfected their own distinct style, and today the city is officially recognized as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy - a title it absolutely deserves.

Our group got to experience the magic firsthand through a traditional Jeonju Bibimbap making class - learning the history, prepping the ingredients, and of course, mixing it all together the right way! Safe to say, it tasted even better knowing we made it ourselves.

WOTF International Taekwondo Festival Day 1

What an incredible day at Jeonju Hanok Village! Took the families out for a self-guided tour and everyone - kids and parents alike - had the best time exploring at their own pace! The hanbok experience for the children was an absolute hit - seeing their faces light up in traditional dress is always one of the best parts of the tour! We also brought the families and taekwondo team through Gyeonggijeon Shrine, a perfect mix of history, culture, and team spirit.
