My Fitness Journey (week 1)
As I mentioned earlier, I was going to publish my 8 weeks of Lifestyle Change. During the past 2 months I had decided to let myself go and stop doing exercise and also chose to eat my way into a bad habit. During those two months, I was eating 1/2 dozen of Krispsy Cream original glazed donuts, 3-6 chocolate chip cookies from subway, eating dinner at 9pm or sometimes even later and chose to drink a lot more beer.
During the past 2 months I have gained some extra weight around my belly and have lost muscle mass. My current body composition reading from Saturday 1April 2017 read:
Height 6'1
Weight 215.2
Fat 26.1%
Visceral 11
BMI 28.6
Muscle 34.5%
I can tell you this, not only have I gained 13 pounds, but I went from 17% body fat to 26.1% and my muscle mass has gone down from 36.8% to 34.5%. I feel sluggish and lazy now.
So, now I want you to follow me and let's change our life together. For the next 8 weeks I am not going to tell you to join a gym or hire a Personal Trainer or buy some crazy Diet meal plan. I am going to teach you how to change your daily lifestyle into something that will help you lead yourself to a better healthy lifestyle.
For week 1, I want you to buy yourself a little journal or you can build yourself a folder in your computer and place notes for yourself and do the following for week 1:
1. Buy yourself a Journal
2. Write down a Fitness goal that you want to reach in 8 weeks.
3. For week 1, I want you to write your daily meals and what time you have eaten them. (Monday to Friday)
4. I want you to think about someone or something that you truly love and would do anything for and write that persons down
5. Download the 'my fitness pal' app from Under Armor. It's free and easy to use.
And this is all I want you to do for week 1. I hope you all have fun with this and I hope I can help at least 1 person change his or her life for the better.
