Team Ssogari Guided Fishing Tour We provide weekend guided fishing trips to the Seomjin River to help anglers meet ssogari (Siniperca scherzeri), South Korea's iconic fresh water game fish.

Enjoy your weekend by the river with Chanbok Lee, the host of FTV’s Badaro Gan Ssogari (바다로 간 쏘가리) and leader of Team Ssogari, Korea's top ssogari fishing community. We depart from Seoul (Hannam Station Exit No. 1) in the afternoon on Saturday for the Seomjin River, one of South Korea’s most picturesque and well-preserved rivers. Estimated driving time is 3 hours. Fishing starts as soon as we reac

h the river and continues until noon on Sunday. Anglers are recommended to fish overnight (as ssogari is highly nocturnal) and catch up on sleep during the drive. When fishing is done, anglers will be returned to Seoul. We provide iced bottled water, soft drinks, coffee, and meals. Catch and release is not mandatory for fish measuring over 18 centimeters. Our service fee is 200,000 KRW per person as of 2017. Customized trips during weekdays or for filming are also available upon request. You are advised to bring your own wading gears. Fishing gears are available for rent free of charge.
