At 4-2 the next goal was crucial. Pomroy wasted a couple of free kicks and new signing Olly who was having a blinder was taken off injured. However with just fifteen minutes left Chan once again broke through and rifled a shot home, 5-2 and this should be game over. Two minutes later it was 5-3 as a mix up in the Newstart defence. The game was settled with ten minutes left when Pomroy beat the offside trap and slotted home off both posts. A minute later Pomroy rattled the bar as he looked to complete another hat trick but instead pulled up with a hamstring injury.
