Last week we said farewell to one of our much loved kickboxers - Marios Bougas - as he left Cambodia for new career adventures in Europe.

Muay Thai & Kun Khmer are truly unique martial arts & sports and it is rare to find westerners who can truly embody the style, culture and finesse of the arts.

Marios is one of these rare people.

His technical ability was excellent as was his control and composure - he was able to train and spar with anyone and maintain form, precision and grace with his strikes and movement.

He was an asset to the team at Baan Muay Thai Phnom Penh & VILLA MMA - Phnom Penh and will be sorely missed... until re meet again...

Until we meet again, bon voyage, Marios…!

This is what it all came down to. Today we presented the money raised from the interclub kickboxing fundraiser to Cambodian Top Team. The event was a great success and through ticket sales alone we managed to raised an incredible $865!! Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket!

This money goes towards schooling, feeding and living expenses for disadvantaged kids that otherwise would not have had the opportunity to grow up in a safe and structured environment. Cambodian Top Team provides a home and a family to these young fighters and anything we can do to help them make their way in life we are more than happy to do so.

Good luck to all the fighters at Cambodian Top Team who will be fighting in championship fights next week. There are some belts on the line so really excited to see what they do best. The fights will be on national TV and we here at Baan Muay Thai will surely be shouting the loudest!

We will go again in 4 months and hope next time to break $1000 raised! Thank you again to everyone that made it, hope to see you again next time. 🙌🏻🥊💚
