Growing up was difficult. Appearance was something that was really emphasised in my home. Being told constant conflicting things about my appearance. Too fat. Too skinny. Looking at myself in the mirror and not knowing “am I pretty? Or am I ugly?”.

Being a fraternal twin, we were constantly compared; “she’s prettier, she’s uglier, why don’t you look like her?”. And it all seemed so unnecessary because we are both beautiful. It’s been a long journey and I’m still learning but I’ve decided that confidence is being unapologetically myself and embracing what makes me, me!

I can’t help but see a woman and have to tell her she’s beautiful! We really are all beautiful!
