GREAT THINGS TO SHARE ❤ CAMBODIA
GREAT THINGS TO SHARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FEIENDS
HOPE WE WILL SEE U AGAIN IN CAMBODIA ONE DAY
OPEN-EYED: I finally got to watch “First They Killed my Father,” by Angelina Jolie. I felt like I was in the movie during the Khmer Rouge time (the ‘70s). It’s a true story told through the eyes of a young girl who lived through the horrific time. I could feel the pain and suffering because I’ve heard alot from my parents, my sisters, my brothers and my relatives about how they lived through the tough times of pol pot’s (Khmer Rouge leader) ruling. What they described to me was just like in the movie and how they survived. I can’t believe how real it looks in the movie... I’m proud to be Khmer, I’m proud of my family and people after all that happened to them in the ‘70s. Want to know the history of what my country has gone through during the Khmer Rouge time? Watch it on Netflix if u haven’t, it will open your eyes as it did mine! ❤️
