The Yeak Laom Lake is located in Ratanakiri and is great for a swim, picnic, or hike around. The depth is 48 meters and the water is crystal clear. There is a 5000 hectare of protected area. The lake is a popular tourist destination and is also known as a spiritual site for local community. There are a few stores that sell souvenirs at the entrance of the lake. The lake is surrounded by a ring of forest and there is a 3-kilometer path that encircles the lake.
