Meet Instructor Nyambura the thalasophile who always wants to make others love the ocean too…
She began her diving journey in 2019 looking to become an underwater photographer but ended up falling in love with the ocean and all the sea creatures it hosts. She became an instructor in 2022 and has been diving ever since.
Her favorite dive site is Kinondo because that’s where she can dive deep and get to see hundreds of red-toothed trigger fish.
Her passion for ocean conservation sees her always cutting off ghost nets and lines so that the coral reef and sea creatures can thrive.
She also loves to give back to society through mentorship programs to orphans and teenage moms in the local community and give them free pool dive sessions as well so she can have more girls and locals learning about diving.
In her free time she thinks about when she will be in the ocean 😆
