Hey Tassia Legends FC what a wonderful TBT we have here 😎

It was a good Sunday outing at the Barding Tourney. Kamanene welcomed their Nairobi opponents with open arms. The much anticipated duel between Nairobi's Tassia Legends against Siayas Kamanene did not disappoint. Kamanene whitewashed, deconstructed and completely obliterated the Tassia tourists 5-1. Tassia got on the score sheet early in the first half. The second half belonged to Kamanene as they scored 5 goals. The comeback started by an equalizer from Maustinho aka Moshue Dokotolo who scored his 240th goal for Kamanene. Fabry, Obare , Sanjro and Marto also got on the scoresheet. In the other match Thika Veterans were humbled by Barding Legends 3-1.

On a chilly afternoon on Dec 30th, fans throng the stadium filling it to the brim awaiting to watch the finals of Otare cup between the much fancied siayas only internationally recognized wazee team Kamanene fc Vs Karapul fc which is a village clan team from the outskirts of Siaya town.

From the start one would think that Karapul fc was going to carry the day as they did last minute poching of players bringing in 12 new players out of the 15 players. They allegedly brought in players from Mombasa, Pokot, Nairobi, Kakamega, Mt Elgon, Machakos and even as far as Uganda and DRC.

Kamanene only new face in their usual team was a team doctor who resides in Virginia USA and had come for holidays in his native county. A doctor who said he had heard about our exploits in a conference meeting in Massachusetts USA and therefore it was a privilege to him to watch us live in action.

To cut the long story short, using their trade mark modern football characterized with tiki taka and free flowing football, Kamanene thoroughly bullied, hammered and disciplined Karapul Fc by whooping them with a marvelous 1-0 win.

On Sunday 20th we hosted Kisumu Westfc and Black Arrows from kisumu and Bondo respectively. The venue was the Lush KMTC Siaya grounds. The green grass was meticulously trimmed to 30 millimeters just for this auspicious occassion to accommodate Kamanenes trademark free flowing tikitaka,grass cutting passes . To cut the long story short Kamanene senselessly beat Bondo’s Black Arrows 2-0. A game that saw Otesh and Fabry get on the scoresheet. An evenly matched second game saw Kamanene draw 0-0 with Kisumu West.

COME BACK KINGS!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Sunday the 30th October was another interesting day in in Kamanene Calendar. All roads led to kakamega Mukumu High School for the wazee league series Kakamega chapter. Our team had two matches slated for the day. Kamanene vs. Vihiga Legends and Kakamega Wakongwe vs. Siaya Kamanene.
In the first game, Vihiga scored an early goal emanating from a speedy right wing move that saw their striker remain one on one with the goalkeeper. He successfully rounded of our goalkeeper to score a wonderful worked out goal. You would think this would disorient Kamanene but the guys remained calm and even got more composed. At the break the score was 1-0 in favor of Vihiga legends. Kamanene came back in the second half with the usual tiki taka free flowing football. This resulted to an equalizer from Ishma in the 63rd minute. In the 75th minute Mandela sealed the deal with a brilliant free kick that left the goalkeeper gasping for air and breath. We hope he has recovered. In the dying minutes of the game Vihiga Legends were awarded a penalty after one of the defenders handled the ball in the box. But no worries as our Spiderman goalkeeper Manu saved the penalty with ease. Game ended 2-1 in favor of Siaya Kamanene.
The next game of the day pitted the home boys Kakamega Wakongwe against Siaya Kamanene. The ground was packed as the students came to watch their role models Kakamega Wakongwe against the team on form Siaya Kamanene. Kakamega Wakongwe boasted of likes of Dennis Mukaisi and Mukaisi former Afc players in their hey days. Siaya kamanene also had the likes of Maustinho former player of Eloi Lupopo DRC, Elias Wayodi former Monrovia Fc Liberia and Eric Agogo a war veteran in Vietnam.
Kakamega Wakongwe got right to it with 3 quick goals in the 11th minute by Denis Mukaisi a wonderful placed shot at the edge of the box,24th minute by the other Mukaisi a powerful shot from the free kick and 30th minute wonderful volley by Denis Mukaisi yet again. The partnership with the 2 Mukaisi’s seems to have been the game plan as they combined well to produce the goals.
A quick motivational talk from Coach Kofware himself a veteran of Hafumbre utd and Humwend stars in his hey days restored some order and marked the beginning of the comeback journey. Doc Juma aka Virus scored two quick goals. At half time it was 3-2 with Kakamega Wakongwe leading. The second half saw Kamanene display free flowing tiki taka football yet again. The ball was only kissing the grass. Whenever the ball was lifted up it was evident Wakongwe were in possession of the ball. Ishma scored in the 75th minute with a powerful shot to level the scores. The whole ground went quiet. The grounds became live again when the referee awarded the hosts a penalty in the 83rd minute after Kamanenes goalkeeper tackled recklessly. Their star of the day Denis Mukaisi stepped up to take the penalty in search for a hatrick. Kamanene goalkeeper redeemed himself by saving the fierce shot and punching it away. In the 87th minute Kamanene won a free kick which Eric Agogo crossed in for Fabry to head it into the net. Kamanene were now in the lead from 3 goals down. The entertaining game Game ended in 93rd minute. Other games that were played on the day were Kakamega Wakongwe 1-1 Luanda Wazito.

Mashujaa day 2022 was fantastic. We were in Ambira community to showcase our trademark free flowing football. The first match of the day we played against an immensely talented Ambira High school team which we lost 1-2 to the highschoolers. Our loan goal was scored by Chalo. In the second game which was perhaps the most pulsating and entertaining, Kamanene played against Ambira Staff. We won 2-3. Kamanene had to come from 2 goals down to eventually win it. Two quick goals in the first half by our hosts was enough to awaken the beast that kamanene is. With 2 goals down at halftime, a motivational talk by coach Ofware Kofware the men set out to hunt for the 3 goals. The squad moved with the spirit of a hungry lion and the precision of US Marines snipers. Our goals were scored by Chalo, Martin Orwa and Fabry. Watchout we are coming to a town near you very soon
