โค MARAFIKI MAZINGIRA DAY
Today, we officially launched the Muringato River Catchment Rehabilitation Project, together with our partners Tana Water Works Development Agency, at Kabage Forest, where we have planted 3,000 trees.
The event brought together Tana Water Agency officials, our Able Chairman Paul Nderi , CEO Jhoe Kimani, Board members, our fans,Marafiki FC fan baze, Kenya Forest Services, Kenya Wildlife Service, and the local community.
As a football club, we not only focus on the pitch but also recognize our responsibility off the pitch, by planting these trees today we made a statement that we care about our environment and future generations.
This initiative is a testament to our club values, emphasizing teamwork, growth, and responsibility. Each tree we planted today represents our commitment to nurturing our community just as we nurture our playersโ talent. Today, we created a legacy that extends beyond football, showing our fans and the world that we stand for a greener future. This reminds us that football can do more than entertain; it can unite people to make a real difference.
