Yesterday marked the climax of the maasai mara university cultural week. The event aimed at promoting diverse cultural activities from diverse communities that were in the institution. The event featured myriad of activities such as traditional dance, step by step traditional food preparation, storytelling and many more activities. The two major activities were food and dance competition where participants showcased their dexterity that made the mijikenda community emerged the best over all the eleven communities that took part. As the event came to a close this evening participants and spectators had a lot to learn from diverse cultures. We wish the entire Maasai Mara University students who are custodians of their respective cultures a good stay.
