As the Naro Moru Cycling Festival 2026 comes to an end, we look back with gratitude for the people who made it special.

To every participant, thank you for bringing your energy, determination and adventurous spirit to the trails and roads of Naro Moru. Whether you came to compete, challenge yourself, explore or simply enjoy the cycling community, you helped make this festival memorable.

A heartfelt thank you to our partners who stood with us along the way. TotalEnergies for believing in our vision and supporting the festival through its journey; Naro Moru River Lodgefor making riders and families feel at home; Melvins Teas for adding warmth and refreshment; Miti Alliance for reminding us to care for the environment we ride through; and Lusoi Gardens for giving us a beautiful space to celebrate our achievements.

We are grateful to McbullArt Studio for investing in our Junior riders, and to Team Velo Nitrous-VeloNos and Kenya Cycling Race Series - KCRS for being part of our journey.

And to our volunteers, marshalls and local community — thank you for the countless hours, helping hands and quiet dedication that kept everything moving.

At the heart of NMCF are people who ride, support and believe. The bikes may be parked and the trails may be quiet, but the memories will stay with us.

The first race day is in the books, and what a way to kick off the Naro Moru Cycling Festival! From the excitement of the Community Race to the cheers, smiles and unforgettable moments, Naro Moru has truly come alive!

But the celebrations don't stop here! As we look ahead to another exciting day of racing, we're bringing the road race action to a memorable close with prize giving at Lusoi Gardens on Saturday, 3rd October.
