On April 16, 2018, Kenyans were stunned to discover that their talented boxer, Brian Agina, had mysteriously vanished during the Commonwealth Games in Australia. It wasn’t until May 2018 that Australian authorities located Agina, safe and sound. Despite the trials and tribulations he endured, Agina’s spirit remained unbroken. With newfound determination and a renewed sense of purpose, he obtained documentation to stay in Australia.
Fast forward to 2021, Agina made his professional boxing debut, entering the ring with the weight of his past experiences behind him. His first opponent, Nitin Lal, quickly realized the depth of Agina’s resolve, succumbing to a technical knockout in the first round.
