As a tribute to the Kenyan people on the occasion of Kenya’s 50th anniversary of independence, the Aero Club of East Africa will stage The Kenya Air Show Festival at Wilson Airport on the
14th and 15th of December. The event will be the biggest festival of flight on the continent and a spectacular showcase to celebrate the country’s golden jubilee. The weekend festival will feature a host of spec
tacular air displays providing the main daytime entertainment. With sensational performances from The Kenyan Air Force, South African Air
Force, helicopters, skydivers and a raft of private and commercial pilots, the Air Show promises the anticipated twenty thousand spectators a memorable experience to last a life time,
Soaking up the festival atmosphere spectators will enjoy our Air Show Festival Village, including static aircraft and custom car displays, a children’s games area, exhibitions, a food court and fun,
entertainment and culture for the whole family. Two music stages with concert performances from some of Kenya’s best-loved musicians will add to the festival flavour, climaxing with a dazzling fireworks display on the Sunday evening.
