Luhya unity of purpose forum is a movement of Luhya community. This movement was started immediately after the ODM grass-root election that was done in 2015. This forum is run by committee of 30 people and 4 conveners
The forum has had meetings in Mathare Sub-County each with attendance of not less than 1000 people. The senior most Luhya leaders who ever addressed this meeting include one Chairma
n ODM Nairobi County Hon: George Aladwa, former minister Hon: Fred Gumo, siting MCAs and other Luhya opinion Leaders, his forum has sister sittings in Kayole, Baba Ndogo and Kamukunji Sub-County. The community having professionals, Business people and other unskilled people discuss ways of influencing each other.
2. SOCIAL. The community under the leadership of conveners is looking forward on how to take their youths to vocational trainings to obtain chances and opportunities on the labor market.
