Well, here you go mamas… one of the things I LOVE about motherhood. 💗

It gives us permission to re-live our childhood again.

The other day, we took the kids to their favourite gelato place, just like we promised them when the weather got a little warmer…

Except… Melbourne is still FREEZING 😂🥶 you know if you’ve lived in Melbourne or still do..

But as we sat there, indulging in ice cream and laughing together, I caught myself thinking…

These are the moments I want to remember.

The silly ones.

The simple ones.

The moments that may seem so ordinary now, but one day might become the memories we miss the most.

So I soaked it all in.

And tucked this little moment away in my happy memories bank for the days when motherhood feels heavy.

Because mamas, sometimes we don’t need a big adventure.
Sometimes, ice cream in winter is enough. 🍦

What’s one simple motherhood moment you want to tuck away in your happy memories bank? Tell me below, mama. ⬇️

Until next have a blessed weekend , mama!

Well salam mamas...

I was having a conversation with a friend the other day, and she said something that really stuck with me.

We were talking about how us working on ourselves as mamas—strengthening our deen and getting closer to Allah SWT—can create a ripple effect of blessings that reaches our children and our families.

And SubhanAllah... it made me reflect.

We don’t always see the doors of mercy that may open because we taught our children to recite the Qur’an...

Or because, despite our busy schedules, we made time to attend a halqah that nourished our soul...

Or because we made it our legacy to sit with our children, contemplate the Qur’an and grow together by living it.

Sometimes, mama, what feels like a small act today could be planting something much bigger for generations to come.

I’m still soaking this thought in.

This morning, it crossed my mind again as I sat in our backyard revising Qur’an with my 7-year-old daughter, enjoying the sunshine and feeling the barakah in that little moment. 🥹💗

And I thought... I had to share this with you.

Whatever you’re doing to get closer to Allah, don’t underestimate it, mama.

It may be a blessing in disguise—and a legacy in the making.

Have you ever thought about the ripple effect of your relationship with Allah on your children and family? ⬇️

Share your thoughts with me in the comments.

Until next time, stay blessed mamas! 💕

✨ Sometimes the decision you’re most afraid of making becomes the very thing that changes your life.

If you had asked me 3.5 years ago how I felt about moving to Kenya, I would’ve told you I wanted to go back to Australia.

Today, as I prepare to leave, I can’t help but say:

Alhamdulillah for Allah’s tawfeeq.
Because Kenya gave me more than I ever imagined.

💗 Lifelong friendships and a beautiful sisterhood.

💗 The blessing of memorising 5 Juz of the Qur’an.

💗 Watching my eldest complete high school

💗 Starting The Nourished Mum Podcast.

💗 Growing and scaling my coaching business.

💗 Joining a high-level mastermind for the first time in my life and learning to think bigger.

💗 Becoming a stronger, more confident version of myself.

💗 Proving to myself that I was capable of far more than I ever believed.

SubhanAllah, sometimes Allah SWT takes you out of your comfort zone not to make life harder, but to show you who you can become.

Every friendship.
Every challenge.
Every lesson.
Every opportunity.

Was part of Allah’s plan to help me grow.
And for that, I will forever be grateful.

Mama, never underestimate what Allah SWT can do with one courageous step of faith.

Sometimes the life you’re praying for is waiting on the other side of your comfort zone.
Until next stay blessed, mama 💕

Well salam mamas...

I just wanted to pop on here and let you know that I’m taking a little partial break from social media as I settle back into Australia and spend some much-needed time with my family. 🥹

The days leading up to our move from Kenya were SO busy, and I still have so many vlogs I never got around to sharing!

So I’ll be popping in here and there to share those little memories with you.😂

And of course, keep an eye on my stories because I’ll still be sharing little snippets along the way. 🫶🏽

And mamas... get ready because we have some amazing podcast episodes that we recorded before the move, and they’ll be coming to The Nourished Mum Podcast very soon, in shaa Allah! 🎙️

For now, please keep me and my family in your du’as as we adjust to this new chapter.

Sending you all so much love.

See you soon, inshaa’Allah mamas🌸

Sometimes Allah brings people closer to us in the most unexpected places...

Well salam mamas...

I just thought I’d share a little BTS from our final guest speaker on Mothers Making a Difference in East Africa.

And this one is extra special because she is someone very close to my heart. 🥹

SubhanAllah, we’ve known each other—and our families—for over 20 years back in Australia, yet somehow we never became this close.

Until Allah brought us together here in Kenya.
Away from home.

And what a beautiful connection and friendship it has been, Alhamdulillah. 💗

In this episode, Fatuma shared how her health struggles transformed her soul and brought her closer to Allah SWT.

And one thing she said really stayed with me...

“I would do it all over again.”

SubhanAllah.

Because what she went through wasn’t just a test for her—it became a soul awakening.

It reminded me how Allah sends each of us messages in different ways, and sometimes the hardest seasons can bring us closer to Him in ways we never imagined.

Stay tuned for “Trusting the Vision” with Fatuma Jama Fatuma Jama , coming soon to The Nourished Mum Podcast. 🎙️

I can’t wait for you mamas to hear this conversation.

Sometimes what we think is breaking us is actually bringing us back to Allah.

Until next stay blessed, mama!

Well salam mamas...

If there’s one thing this season has taught me, it’s that motherhood was never meant to be done alone.

When I first moved to Kenya, I felt lonely.

I had left behind my family, my friends, and everything familiar.

I never imagined that Allah would bless me with a village that would one day feel like family.

This weekend, these beautiful sisters surprised me with the most heartfelt farewell, and I honestly don’t think I’ll ever forget it.

Every hug, every du’a, every laugh, every tear... reminded me just how kind Allah has been to me.

Mama, if you’re in a season where you feel alone, don’t stop making du’a for righteous companionship.

Be open to new friendships.

Invite someone for coffee.

Join that class.

Start the conversation.

Your village may be one conversation away.

And when Allah blesses you with people who love you for His sake, hold them close and thank Him often.

May Allah bless every mum with sisters who remind her of Him, lift her up when she’s struggling, and walk beside her through every season of life. Ameen🤲

What if the only thing standing between you and the life you want... is waiting to be perfect?

Well salam mamas...

Looking back at how far I’ve come is honestly one of the most transformational things I’ve started doing.

I’ve decided to make it a yearly ritual—to share my beginning of the year, my mid-year, and my end-of-year journey.

Not because I’ve “made it,” but because I want you to see what growth actually looks like.

I get so many DMs asking, “Fawzia, how do you do it as a mama of five while running your coaching business?”

My answer?

I do it scared.

My beginning was messy... and some days still are.

Even now, I question myself. I wonder if what I’m sharing is really making a difference.

But before doubt convinces me to stop, I hit post.

The video that feels cringe.

The awkward pause.

The caption with a typo.

In fact, my eldest daughter recently pointed out that I’d written “think” instead of “thing” in one of my recent carousel posts. 😂

Do you know what I told her?
“I’m not deleting it. I’m human, and people will know what I meant.”

That same post went on to reach over 6,000 people and brought 27 new mums into this beautiful community.

Imagine if I had let perfection stop me.

So here’s your reminder, mama...

Don’t wait until you feel ready.

Take the risk.

Start messy.

Trust Allah.

And one day, you’ll look back and be amazed at how far He’s brought you.

Because you can’t celebrate progress you never gave yourself permission to begin.

Well salam mamas...

The other night, I took my dear friend—and my neighbour of the last three years & half —out for a girls’ night before we say our goodbyes. As we’re both taking our different paths and life decisions for us and our families..

As I was sitting there, I couldn’t help but reflect on how much Allah has changed me.

Because this version of me didn’t always exist.

There was a time when I felt guilty every single time I left the house without my children... even when they were safely with their dad.

I convinced myself that being a “good mum” meant always being available.

But I’ve learnt that filling your own cup doesn’t take away from your family—it allows you to pour into them from a place of joy instead of exhaustion.

A couple of hours with a friend. A meaningful conversation. A good laugh.

These aren’t things to feel guilty about, mama.

They’re gifts that help us return home as calmer, happier, and more present mothers.

If you’ve been carrying that mum guilt, let this be your reminder: taking care of yourself isn’t selfish—it’s part of taking care of your family.

May Allah help us find balance, remove unnecessary guilt from our hearts, and allow us to nurture ourselves just as we nurture those we love. Ameen. 🤲

Until next stay blessed , mama!
