Chennai. The First Act. Mumbai. The Middle.

For the Grand Finale, it had to be something symbolic and illustrative. And what better place to sign off Shori with a bang than the capital city, the centre of India, and a thoroughfare of all things monumental – Delhi.

As for my Avatars, which have been intrinsic to the cultural heritage of the place, I decided to put around my shoulders the accouters of the mighty Maharana Pratap, the legend who has bested many battles, a paradigm of leadership, and a symbol of valor.

Where Chennai was about new beginnings and Mumbai about resiliency and perseverance, the final act in Delhi is an ode to responsible leadership, accountability, and change.

Also, with the event being the last entry for this year's Shori, I'd like to thank everybody who made this beautiful, inspiring event possible.

We’ve brought our Shori 2022 Event to Western India next, to the land of fabled forts, massive mountain ranges, and fierce warriors.

Today, as per what’s become a tradition during Shori, I donned the fashion native to Maharashtra, the colors worn by the legendary Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The reason was simple – to emulate the qualities of a great leader, and lead an army of champions, who, against all odds, came out victorious.

Just like our team of heroes, who, despite being thrown into an unfamiliar and uncertain pandemic, claimed our victory, and came out more resilient and stronger than ever!

Kudos to our motivated, dedicated, most of all, inspiring team of champions!
